On July 23, 2025, the Second Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held an interview and determined the results of the qualification evaluation of a candidate for the position of judge to the commercial court of appeal Roman Kolesnyk.
Based on the results of the qualification evaluation, the candidate scored 748.65 points. The Second Chamber decided to recognise Roman Kolesnyk as having confirmed his ability to administer justice in the commercial court of appeal.
A total of 68 candidates were interviewed: 37 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the commercial court of appeal, 17 candidates did not confirm their ability, and 14 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission.
